Visit Isak Heartstone
After spending the winter in warmer air, Isak is returning to Breckenridge in the spring of 2019 to settle back into the forest. Isak is Breckenridge’s 15 foot wooden troll capturing the hearts of many last summer. Isak welcomes those who will love his home as he does and leave no trace on his new surroundings. Isak Heartstone is a large-scale, wooden troll sculpture by Danish artist Thomas Dambo, known for building playful sculptures out of recycled material.
His new home is off the Illinois Gulch trail behind the Stephen C. West Ice Arena. The Trollsteigen Trail is a one-way directional trail and is the only way to visit Isak.
